“ I am a second-year Ph.D. student at the at the National University of Singapore (NUS), supervised by Prof. Yi-Chieh (EJ) Lee in the AI4SG (AI for Social Good) Lab. “

My research stands at the intersection of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) and Artificial Intelligence, with a core mission to align AI systems with human cognitive and psychological mechanisms. Specifically, I investigate:

  1. Theme A - Psychological Distance in Search: How aligning information format with users' psychological distance improves decision-making in conversational search.
  2. Theme B - Human-AI Trust & Collaboration: How AI confidence and personality traits influence human self-perception and reliance.
  3. Theme C - AI for Social Good: Designing computational tools to demystify mental health stigma and support qualitative analysis.

Our work has been published in top-tier venues including CHI, CSCW, ACL, and TOCHI, and recognized with a Best Paper Honorable Mention at CHI 2025.
